REUTERS/Mike Segar NEW YORK (Reuters) – J.C. Penney Inc, the largest U. S. retailer by sales, has launched an online shopping service for shoppers that lets them browse and buy a wide range of items online.
The new J. C. Penneys Online Shopping Service lets customers search through more than 4,500 brands and products to find the best deals for everyday purchases and is expected to roll out in the next few weeks, the company said on Friday.
The site allows shoppers to make purchases, compare prices, order items, and share items on social media.
It allows customers to shop online and also check inventory.
The service allows shoppers the opportunity to buy online through their credit card, debit card, check, PayPal, or online at checkout, said Jennifer Scholten, director of marketing and sales for J. Penns online shopping.
Customers can shop at any J. c.
Penner retail location, including the stores that opened this week, the site said.
In addition to shopping at stores, shoppers can also order items online and pick them up at their local J.c.
