Posted May 07, 2018 11:53:38Vape shops across the city are buzzing with activity, as local businesses compete to attract the new wave of customers and businesses alike.
The city has been in the midst of an explosive growth spurt in the past two years, with the number of establishments opening and the number opening in a month increasing by more than 60 per cent over the last three years.
“The city is really vibrant.
I’ve seen it every day, from day one, I’ve never seen anything like it,” local DJ Matt Sayers said.”
It’s just a great feeling, you just feel like it’s a part of our city.
I love it.”
The latest trend to hit the CBD is the influx of people seeking out the local shops for a variety of products, including e-liquids, e-cigarettes and vaping accessories.
It’s the latest of many in the CBD who are looking for new outlets to open and cater to the increasing number of people who are choosing to smoke.
“I think the demand is great, it’s the only thing I know how to do,” Mr Sayers, who’s been in business for 15 years, said.
“The more I go into the shops, the more I get inspired and I just get more into it.”
There’s not much more to say.
“With more than 100 new vape shops opening daily, it is clear that the CBD has been transformed over the past year, with new shops and new vibes permeating the area.
The CBD has a long way to go before it’s ready for the next wave of growth.
It’s a major city that is booming in all areas, and is set to become the next hub for cannabis cultivation and retail.”
We’re seeing a lot of things happening, a lot more opportunities, people coming in from the south-east,” Mr Williams said.
